Tier 3 runes have a base maximum level of 20, requiring 2 points to level up. Tier 1 and 2 runes have a base maximum level of 40, requring 1 point to level up. Runes have 4 tiers, with each subsequent tier requiring more points to level. You get 3 Rune Points per level up, giving you 360 distributable points at maximum level. The maximum Enchanting Tier is 7.Runes are passive abilities, which can provide passive boosts, buffs on cast, additional spells, etc. As you upgrade, the amount of Arcane Crystals it takes will increase greatly.

Upgrading: In order to upgrade your Enchanting Tier, you must spend Arcane Crystals.

Your enchanting tier is the same across all characters.

Enchanting Tier: Your enchanting tier determines the level of glyphs you are able to purchase.It also presents you with the option of Upgrading your enchanting tier. It will show the amount of Arcane Crystals you currently have, along with your Enchanting Tier. When your Character steps up to the Enchanter a menu will appear.The price of the reroll depends on the item's internal level. For an additional fee, you can lock specific slots from rerolling. Item Reroll: A selected Immortal item can have its properties changed.The cost of Chiseling depends on the items Required Level. Gear Chisel: Removes the selected equipped item.All transactions with the Blacksmith will require Mithril Shards. Collect Income: Once every day you may collect 120 Mithril Shards from the Blacksmith.It will show at the top, Collect Income as well as Gear Chisel and Item Reroll. When your Character steps up to the Blacksmith a menu will appear.The Pool of Eternity is an item stash that Players can access between difficulties and between characters.It will show two selections, Save and Pool of Eternity. When your Character steps up to the Oracle a menu will appear.Though remember that as your character progresses through the campaign, their default respawn point will change.

It is also the default respawning point if your character dies. The Town is home to various NPCs that give Players access to certain features like saving their Characters, accessing their persistent item stash and purchasing glyphs, among others. As your character spawns into the game, they begin their journey in the Town.
